The ArtClub Philosophy
A platform for discovery that keeps artists in control.
ArtClub exists to help people find art and connect with the artists who make it.
Art comes first
We focus on the artwork and its creator, not follower counts, likes or popularity rankings. Our homepage introduces visitors to a changing selection of artists.
Artists keep their independence
Artists choose what to share, what to say about their work and how visitors can contact them. They can link to their own websites rather than being required to transact through ArtClub.
Information should serve people
We support accessible descriptions, meaningful artwork information and structured public data while keeping optional fields optional.
A platform for discovery, not an image archive
ArtClub prepares images for online viewing and does not retain print-ready originals. Artists remain responsible for safeguarding their own original files.
These principles will guide how ArtClub evolves.
