Meg Mader

Meg Mader is a Clare Valley–based artist working primarily with acrylic inks, gouache and pen to create vibrant illustrative works featuring animals, still life and playful narrative scenes. Her work has been exhibited widely and has received awards including the Clare Valley Portrait Prize and the Balco Art Prize. Meg was also selected for the Country Arts SA Nebula Program supporting regional artists and the Guildhouse Catapult Program. Alongside her studio practice, Meg has extensive experience facilitating creative workshops and community art activities across regional South Australia and Tasmania. She has coordinated a weekly art group for over a decade and regularly supports emerging artists through mentoring, professional advice and creative skill development. Meg is passionate about creating accessible opportunities for people in regional communities to connect through art.
